If you claim Universal Credit, you now need to report to the DWP that your rent has changed. You can do this by accessing your online account, selecting Report a Change, and choosing Where You Live and What it Costs. This will update your new housing costs. If you have already reported a change, you must re-submit it as the change is only effective from 13th May.
