BAME Housing Consultation Event

Novotel, L1 4LN
Wednesday 5th April 2023
12:00 - 14:30

The independent Better Social Housing Review Panel recently published their report and recommendations, having looked at the quality of social housing in England through many different lenses, including:

• the challenges of managing and developing housing stock

• culture, complaints and communication

• stigma and discrimination

• tenant voice and power

• sustainability and climate change

• workforce

• health

• access to data and information

Housing associations now need action plans to address the issues raised, particularly around the suitability/quality of housing stock and the culture and responsiveness to tenants’ concerns and complaints.

To help make sure all voices are heard, we are bringing together BAME (Black, Asian and minority ethnic) tenants and those with protected characteristics to hear their views and ensure their engagement as part of that consultation process.

The event is on Wednesday 5th April 2023, at the Novotel, 40 Hanover Street, Liverpool, L1 4LN.

It will start with arrivals and buffet lunch at 12:00 noon and finishes at 2:30 pm.

Please get in touch with us using the form below or call us on 0151 452 0202 if you would like to attend.
